Nuku'alofa, An earthquake measuring 4.7 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Wednesday off the coast of southern Tonga. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 103 km from Houma, at a depth of 178.8 km. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage as a result of the earthquake so far. Tonga is an archipelago of 176 scattered islands, of which only 52 are inhabited in the South Pacific Ocean. Source: Qatar News Agency
