An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale struck Fiji Islands in the South Pacific on Tuesday. The US Geological Survey reported that the earthquake occurred south of Fiji Islands, at a depth of 613.8 km. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far.
