Four militants were killed during a security operation carried out by Pakistani army forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwestern Pakistan. The Pakistani army said in a statement that their forces carried out a security operation in Tank District, where an exchange of fire took place between security forces and armed elements, resulting in the killing of four militants. The four killed were involved in targeting security personnel and civilians in the area. Weapons and ammunition were also found in their possession, the statement added.
