An earthquake measuring 5.7 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the Punjab province, northeast of Pakistan, on Wednesday. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km, the National Seismic Monitoring Center reported in a statement. There have been no reports of casualties or material losses due to the earthquakes so far. Pakistan experiences violent earthquakes.
