A girl (one and a half years old) was killed, on Saturday evening, as a result of a trampling accident in the town of Kobar, northwest of the city of Ramallah.
Police media spokesman, Colonel Louay Irziqat, explained that the accident resulted from the child being stepped on by one of her relatives. She was taken to the hospital, and doctors announced her death.
He added that the driver who caused the accident was arrested, the Public Prosecution was informed, and the Traffic Police initiated an investigation into the accident to determine its causes.
