Doha: The general assembly of Mesaimeer SC elected Abdulrahman Al Shathri as president for 2024-2028 by acclamation since no candidate came forward for the positions of president and vice president. Al Shathri will continue his position as president while Yousef Mohammed Yousef Abdul Rahman Al Mana will serve as vice president. The approval came during the club's general assembly meeting held Sunday after a quorum was reached in the presence of the founding and working members as well as representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The general assembly touched on many important topics, most notably achieving the club's goals to advance its first football team to the first division next season and keeping up with the successes achieved by the age group teams last season. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved and the president's report on the work of the previous year was also discussed, in addition to many topics on the agenda. Mohammed Al Mana, the vice president of the football staff at Mesaimeer SC said that the club's management is making every effort in coordination with the technical staff to strengthen the team's lineup with great players who represent a valuable addition to the team.
