The official spokesman for the presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said today, Sunday, "There is no legitimacy for any foreign presence on the Palestinian territories, and the Palestinian people alone are the ones who decide who governs them and manages their affairs." Abu Rudeineh added: "There is also no legitimacy for settlements or the policy of displacement that the occupation authorities are trying to implement on the ground through the bloody massacres they are pursuing. The occupation government and its president will be delusional if they believe that they are able to determine the fate of the Palestinian people and perpetuate the occupation by bringing in foreign forces to replace the occupier in the Gaza Strip." He continued: "We will not accept or allow a foreign presence on our land, whether in the West Bank or the Gaza Strip, and the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, has legal jurisdiction over the entire territory of the State of Pale stine in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem." He pointed out that the settlement expansion led by extremist Bezalel Smotrich in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, is illegal and is part of the comprehensive war being waged against the Palestinian people, their land, and their sanctities. Abu Rudeineh stressed that "we have rejected the conspiracy to displace our people completely and will not allow it to happen no matter the cost. Our Palestinian people have set the best examples of their adherence to their land and holy sites and their steadfastness on their national principles, from which we will not deviate." The official spokesman for the presidency stressed that "peace will only pass through Palestine, Jerusalem and the leadership of the PLO," stressing that "the Palestinian issue is an issue of land and state, not a matter of humanitarian relief. It is a sacred issue and the central issue of the Arabs Source: Maan News Agency
