Qatar's Ahmed Al Rawi has been nominated among the Best Player Award list for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qatar 2024, which wrapped up on May 3 in Doha. Along with the 19-year-old center-forward, the list included Iraq's Ali Jassim, Japan's Mao Hosoya, Uzbekistan's Khusayin Norchaev, Saudi Arabia's Abdullah Radif, and Indonesia's Rafael Struick. An AFC report on the continental federation's official account highlighted that Al Rayyan SC's Al Rawi who was sidelined in two group stage games over injury, showed a distinguished technical level in his side in the matches he played.
