Afro-Asian Affairs Chief participates in ACD ministerial meeting

Ambassador Fatima Abdullah Fares Al Dhaen, Chief of Afro-Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs chaired the fifth virtual ministerial meeting of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD).

Dr. Pornchai Danvivathana, ACD Secretary-General was present.

The ambassador affirmed Bahrain's commitment to the ACD's objectives and wished the organization continued success in improving cooperation among its member nations, looking forward to the eighth ministerial meeting next month, which will be held at the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York.

This meeting comes in continuation of previous meetings to discuss the "Bahrain Declaration" to be issued at the 18th ministerial meeting of the ACD, chaired by Bahrain for the years 2022-2023, under the theme "Sustainable Post-Pandemic Recovery".
