Doha: Al Ahli announced the signing of player Ahmed Al Sebaie to join the first football team for the upcoming 2024/2025 season. In a statement on Monday, the club said that Ahmed Al Sebaie has joined the club's football team on a free transfer. The player signed his contract in the presence of team manager Abdulrahman Mohammed. Al Ahli have strengthened its squad with several new signings in recent days in preparation for the upcoming season. These include Croatian defender Matej Mitrovic from Croatian club Rijeka, Spanish forward Erik Exposito from Polish club Slask Wroclaw, and Abdulrahman Mohammed from Al Duhail. Al Ahli finished the previous season in tenth place on the Qatari league table with 23 points, just two points behind Al Shamal in ninth and Qatar SC in eighth.
