Manama, Adel Abdulrahman Al Asoomi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament , lauded the royal decree of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, pardoning inmates who have been convicted for riot and criminal cases. He emphasised His Majesty's keenness to unite Bahraini families during Eid Al Fitr celebrations and the commitment to prioritise human rights, citing initiatives like open prisons and alternative punishments that are aligned with international practices. He ommended the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to implement the royal vision for enhancing human rights in the kingdom.
