Geneva: Health Minister, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghabbash , discussed with Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Ghebreyesus means of strengthening health cooperation and develop early recovery programs. That came during the meeting of both sides on the sidelines of the 154th session of the Executive Council of the WHO, currently held in Geneva,they s discussed a number of long-term health projects, in addition to strengthening the support provided to early recovery programs. The Health Minister pointed out that the difficulties that facing Syria are a result of the terrorist war and the unilateral coercive measures that affected different vital economic and service sectors, including the health sector, noting the significance of the support provided by the WHO to Syria during the past years. For his part, Director-General of the WHO, stressed that the organization is commitment in continuing to provide the support that Syria requires to strengthen the health sector and continue providing he alth care to its citizens.
