Jerusalem Together - Al-Quds University topped the Palestinian universities according to the QS World Classification for the year 2025, within the category of the best 851-900 universities around the world, as the first Palestinian university to enter this category, advancing 180 places in the global classification for the year 2025, with a rate of progress of 10.2% globally. The university president, Prof. Dr., said: Abu Kishk about this result: 'We are proud that we have achieved an exceptional result by entering the club of the first 851 universities in the world, after we entered the global rankings for the first time only 5 years ago, and today we are at the forefront of Palestinian universities, in an unprecedented achievement that is counted in the development process of Palestinian higher education as a whole.' He blessed Prof. Dr. Abu Kishk for the Al-Quds University family. This achievement comes as a result of a serious and innovative strategy over a period of 5 years that supports research, lea dership and innovation within a scientific university environment that supports its students, researchers and graduates. Accordingly, the university was able to excel through the effort and dedication of its one family, academics, workers and management, and through its students who raise the name Jerusalem today in medicine, engineering, leadership, technology, humanities and social sciences and various fields at the regional and global levels. The QS results indicated that the university made progress in all classification indicators compared to previous years, and ranked first among Palestinians in 6 indicators out of 9, which are: the reputation index among companies, the employment outcomes index, the international students and academics index, the academics versus students index, and the sustainable development. The academic reputation index jumped from 4.2 to 5.8, and the reputation index between companies witnessed an advance of 3.9 as a result of activating the role of graduates in supporting and c ommunicating with the university, so that the employment outcomes index also moved from 12.3 to 23.5, that is, by nearly doubling as a result of a long-term strategy in creating specializations that keep pace with Market requirements, preparing students, honing their skills, encouraging them towards leadership, and immersing themselves in scientific research and innovation. The university was able to reach a rating of 30.6 in the research networks index, which has a significant impact on this result as the university follows a sustainable approach to strengthening the network of international relations in the research field in particular. QS also showed notable progress in the indicators of international students and academics, and the academics versus students index, The Sustainable Development Index and the Research Citation Index. About 21 new universities were added to the QS classification, bringing the total number to 1,503 universities in the classification according to its global indicators and stan dards.
