Doha: Al Sadd Club announced today that their player, Pedro Miguel, has successfully undergone surgery in London to recover from a hamstring injury. The club stated in a press release that Miguel will soon begin his rehabilitation and recovery program, although the duration of his absence from the field was not disclosed. Miguel sustained the injury to his hamstring during the AFC Champions League elite match against Iranian side Esteghlal, held at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium during the second round of the competition.
