Al Shaqab-owned colt Afreen Al Shaqab claimed the gold medal at GCAT Valkenswaard 2024 - Yearling Colts Championship (Class YCC) held in the Netherlands as part of the Global Champions Arabians Tour 2024. Afreen Al Shaqab outperformed D Borkan of the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud (silver medal) and Azzaam Al Amal of the Azzaam Al Amal Partnership (bronze medal). Qatar Foundation's Al Shaqab is participating with a group of special Arabian horses in this round. Teha Al Shaqab won bronze in the Yearling Fillies Championship (Class YFC), while Aijana won bronze in the Senior Mares Championship (Class SMC). The Global Champions Arabians Tour 2024 kicked off in Doha and then was held in Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Cannes, and Valkenswaard. Its next stage will be in Rome and it is set to conclude in Riyadh.
