Baghdad, Syrian Ambassador in Baghdad, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah, stressed the importance of consolidating the deep-rooted fraternal relations binding the brotherly peoples of Syria and Iraq in a way that strengthens steadfastness to continue defending common issues. That came during a meeting at the Syrian Embassy building in Baghdad on Tuesday that brought together Ambassador al-Dandah, with Syriac Catholic Archbishop of Baghdad and Secretary of the Holy Synod, Ephrem Yousif Abba Mansoor, His Eminence Bishop Joseph Zabarian, Armenian Catholic Bishop of Baghdad, and Father Pius Qasha, Pastor of St Joseph Syriac Catholic Church. For his part, Archbishop Yousif Abba expressed his pride in Syria and his full solidarity with it, praising the wise policy it is pursuing under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
