Manama, Mikhail Bogdanov, Russian Presidential Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, and Deputy Foreign Minister, received Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, Bahrain's Ambassador to Russia. The deputy minister highlighted the significance of the 33rd Arab Summit hosted in Bahrain amid exceptional regional circumstances, particularly Israel's military operations in Gaza. Minister Bogdanov expressed his confidence that the summit would produce resolutions bolstering joint Arab action to confront challenges, underscoring the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who is appreciated and respected by world leaders. He affirmed his country's support for all resolutions adopted by the Arab Summit to address regional crises, particularly the tragic situation of Palestinians in Gaza in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative. He also emphasised Russia's readiness to provide all needed support to Arab countries, underlining Russia's close ti es with all Arab countries and its permanent membership in the UN Security Council.
