The League of Arab States has confirmed its continued efforts to push all Libyan leaders to take measures and steps that allow moving forward with approving a constitution for the country and holding presidential and parliamentary elections, in order to meet the aspirations of the Libyan people and establish stability and security. This came during a meeting held here on Wednesday by Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit , with the Head of the National Unity Government in the State of Libya Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba,, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo. During the meeting, Aboul Gheit reviewed the results of the dialogue session hosted by the League of Arab States last March with the participation of several Libyan parties, while the Prime Minister of the Libyan government presented his point of view on this matter. He also addressed developments in the situation in the country and his governments efforts to restore security and advance the development process. Source: Qatar News Agency
