Cairo, The foreign ministers of the Arab countries affirmed their countries' keenness on Syria's security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and rejected foreign interference in its affairs and any illegal military presence on its lands, stressing their support for Syria to restore the entire occupied Golan up to the June 4th 1967 Line. At the conclusion of its 161st regular session at the ministerial level at the League's headquarters in Cairo, with the participation of a Syrian delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Fayssal Mikdad, the Council adopted the resolution entitled: 'The Occupied Syrian Arab Golan,' through which they affirmed their support and assistance to Syria to restore Golan entirety, based on the relevant international references, stressing the invalidity and illegitimacy of the Israeli occupation's decision to impose its laws and jurisdiction on Golan, and rejecting the American decision regarding it. The Arab foreign ministers also condemned the occu pation practices in the occupied Golan, such as seizing agricultural lands, plundering natural resources, and depleting underground resources and water, stressing that these resources are exclusive ownership of the people of the occupied Syrian Golan. The Council expressed complete solidarity with Syria regarding the challenges it faces that affect its security and stability, and the serious violations it is exposed to that threaten its unity and stability and the lives of Syrian citizens. The resolution condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, stressing its support for Syria in exercising its right to defend its land and people, and welcomed Syria's decision to extend the use of the Bab al-Hawa crossing until the middle of next July, and to extend the opening of Bab al-Salam and Al-Rai border crossings until the upcoming May 13th to facilitate delivering aid to northwestern Syria.
