Doha: The Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has wrapped up the 9th edition of Aspire summer camp for children that was launched on June 21, 2024, with the aim of offering awe-inspiring educational experiences for children whose ages ranged between 6 and 12. In a statement, AZF affirmed that the camp was held in partnership with several bodies and institutions. The event drew more than 130 participants from children and featured field trips to many landmarks, including Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum 321, Rail Company, as well as Al-Hadaf Shooting Range. The closing ceremony saw a friendly match between the Qatari basketball players and group of the camp's children, amid fervent atmosphere and buoyant mood, with Meryal Waterpark presenting an incredible entertainment shows for children. Events Manager at AZF, Idrees Mohammed AlSharshani, said he was so glad for the success of this camp, highlighting that the preparation for the event took three months of relentless work with an integrated team. He added that the camp attracted over 130 kids from both genders and was held over the course of four days each week and included 4 field trips. AlSharshani added that the team made diligent efforts to ensure the success of the event and to provide a comprehensive sport, recreational, and educational atmosphere. He thanked the supporters, parents and event curators for their tremendous contributions in making this success to be further added to AZF's record of achievements. The camp broadly featured a combination of educational activities with innovative techniques, such as e-games, learning art of drawing, training in football, volleyball, and basketball, in addition to swimming lessons.
