Manama, Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO), praised the speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, during the opening of the third session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura Council and Parliament. The auditor general pointed out that the speech reflected His Majesty's firm approach to promoting development in the Kingdom and ensure the highest quality of public services for the benefit of the country and its citizens. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed noted the continuous efforts of the government under the guidance of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in promoting and safeguarding the country's capabilities to secure a sustainable future for future generations. He stressed the NAO's keenness to continue building on its achievements to progress audit work and to strengthen the cooperation with the executive and legislative authorities in order to achieve the desired national goals.
