The Foreign Affairs Ministry strongly condemned and denounced the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by a group of extremists under the protection of Israeli police.
In a statement it issued today, the Foreign Affairs Ministry called for de-escalation and respect for the historical context in Jerusalem in accordance with the rules of international law, and to refrain from any provocative actions that would provoke the feelings of Muslims and threaten security and stability.
