Bahraini CEOs honoured at World CIO 200 awards

Several Bahraini IT managers were honoured at The World CIO 200 Grand Finale.

Various countries and organisations participated to honour innovators and pioneers in the field of information technology.

The Grand Finale event was announced by the Organising Committee of the Khalid bin Hamad Innovation, Artificial Intelligence Competition, following the success of the second Bahrain Awards Ceremony for CEOs held last month under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).

Five Bahraini managers were honoured, including Anas Kamaluddin, Head of Information Technology at Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group; Tariq Al Mijhif, CEO at the Ministry of Interior; Ali Al Aradi, CEO at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Hassan Abdulaziz Murad, Director of the Information Technology Department at the Royal Business Corporation for Human Rights; and Dr. Jassim Haji, President of the International Group for Artificial Intelligence.

These distinguished chief executive officers were honoured for their contributions to Bahrain's IT sector and their leadership role in digital transformation projects.
