SAN FRANCISCO, CA / ACCESSWIRE / January 25, 2024 / Bay Area Bicycle Law, P.C. is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 3rd Annual Light Up the Night Bike Parade, presented by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition + SF Parks Alliance. Taking place on January 27th, 2024, the parade will feature hundreds of bicyclists taking a leisurely 2-mile, family-friendly bike ride along JFK Promenade, all aglow with colorful bike lights and fun costumes.

"We are thrilled to support an event that celebrates bicycle culture and safety," said Michael Stephenson, Managing Partner of Bay Area Bicycle Law. "This parade is a unique way to bring together the entire bicycling community and reminds drivers to share the road every night."

The parade will start at 5 p.m. PST on January 27th in Golden Gate Park, starting at Peacock Meadow. Participants are encouraged to decorate their bikes and gear with glowing lights, neon colors, fun flags, and custom designs. The 2-mile route will pass through Golden Gate Park along the JFK Promenade.

Participants will receive free bike lights (while supplies last). Bike lights are provided by Bay Area Bicycle Law.

Prizes will be offered at the end for the most creative light display, so make sure to bring your best set of lit wheels. Bikes, strollers, wheelchairs, skates, scooters, and other wheels are all welcome, so decorate your ride and help light our way through the heart of Golden Gate Park.

About Bay Area Bicycle Law: Bay Area Bicycle Law's Founder and Chief Legal Counsel, Michael Stephenson, started the firm after moving to San Francisco in 2010. With a passion for cycling and for representing those most vulnerable on the roads of the San Francisco Bay Area, Mr. Stephenson realized that many cyclists were being represented by general practitioners with relatively little experience working on bicycle collision cases. Some of these attorneys failed to appreciate the nuances of how traffic laws apply to bicycles, or how insurance coverage can most effectively be used to help cyclists injured in a bicycle accident.
