Manama, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), inspected a "Shield of the Nation 2024" drill site. The drill is organised by the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), in collaboration with the National Guard and the Ministry of Interior. The Commander-in-Chief was briefed on the objectives and phases of the drill, the joint training procedures and techniques, as well as the advanced command and control systems. He emphasised the BDF's commitment to conducting exercises at different levels to train participants, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister. He underscored the importance of continuous training to enhance readiness, commending the participants and trainers for executing the exercise professionally and incorporati ng modern technologies effectively.
