Beersheba - Ma'an - The administration of a school in Beersheba expelled a seventh-grade student because she commented during a class that in Gaza there are children dying from hunger and bombing. The student was subjected to racist incitement and a widespread attack by students and faculty, and the incitement against her increased to the point that members of the municipality and the deputy mayor of Beersheba demanded the expulsion of the student and her family from Beersheba, while the school retracted its decision to suspend the expulsion after human rights activists from the Negev approached her. The student's family received threatening calls to kill her, claiming that what she said constituted incitement against Israeli soldiers. Source: Maan News Agency
