The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting held at the Amiri Diwan yesterday.
The Cabinet considered a group of the topics were on its meeting agenda, among which are the following:
First: approval of the Cabinet's draft decision to amend some provisions of the executive regulations of the Civil Human Resources Law. The amendment provides for an increase in the value of the marriage advance to a maximum of QR300,000 for all Qatari employees instead of QR100,000 current marriage advance, in order to encourage Qatari youth to marry and help them in this regard.
Second: approval of a draft decision of the Minister of Interior on specifying the entry and exit ports to the country.
Third: Approval of a draft decision of the Minister of Education and Higher Education on amending some provisions of Resolutions No. 20 of 2021 and No. 2 of 2022, regarding the annual calendar of schools for the academic years 2021/2022 and 2022/2023.
