Cabinet Nod for Draft Decree on Unified Customs Tariff

The Cabinet chaired by HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, approved in its regular meeting held yesterday afternoon, at its headquarters in the Amiri Diwan a draft decree on the unified customs tariff.

The Cabinet also considered the topics on its agenda as follows:

First, The Cabinet took the necessary measures to ratify:

An agreement for co-operation and joint news exchange between the Turkish Anadolu Agency (AA) and the Qatar News Agency (QNA).

An agreement on mutual exemption from entry visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, special, official and ordinary passports and mission passports between Qatar and Uruguay.

Second, the Cabinet reviewed a report on the results of the work of the co-ordination committee between the entities operating at Hamad International Airport for the period from 1/4 to 30/9/2021, and took the appropriate decision in this regard.

This committee, established in the Civil Aviation Authority, is specialised, among other things, with coordinating work between all entities operating at Hamad International Airport, to facilitate operations and activities of air transport and the movement of aircraft, passengers, goods and mail to and from the country, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force, and to provide the necessary requirements to facilitate the work of the airport's activities.
