Manama, Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), attended the opening ceremony of the 17th Joint Command and Staff Course, which took place at the Royal Command, Staff, and National Defence College. The Chief of Staff highlighted the ongoing progress of the academic institution under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister. He also praised the follow-up of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, and the participation of officers from allied countries, emphasising the strong ties and comprehensive cooperation with these countries. The Chief of Staff commended the quality of the training programme, noting its role in equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for leadership, operations, and administration, fostering research, development, and creative thinking.
