Bogota, Colombian President Gustavo Petro said that 'Israel' had failed to comply with the UN Security Council's cease-fire resolution in Gaza. Quoting footage of Israel's recent attack on a refugee camp in Gaza on his X account, Petro said 'It has started again. Following the strong reaction to Saturday attacks, the killing of children and the violation of the UNSC ceasefire resolution continue. The vast majority of humanity desires peace.' On March 25, the UN Security Council passed a resolution, demanding an immediate cease-fire in Gaza. 'Israel' has waged a deadly military offensive on Gaza Strip since an Oct. 7, 2023. More than 33,700 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have since been killed in Gaza, and nearly 76,400 others injured amid mass destruction and shortages of necessities. 'Israel' stands accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice. An interim ruling in January ordered 'Tel Aviv' to stop genocidal acts and take measures to guarantee that humanitarian assistance is provi ded to civilians in Gaza. Late on Saturday, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched a barrage of drones and missiles at 'Israel' in response to the April 1 attack on the Iranian Consulate in Damascus.
