Tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, with continued harassment and restrictions on the entry of worshipers into it. The Islamic Endowments Department said that 30,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The occupation authorities installed iron barriers on the roads of Al-Aqsa, and were stationed at its gates, on its roads, and at the gates of the Old City. They arrested the visitors, especially the young men and boys between the ages of 14-50 years, and subjected some to physical searches and field investigations. They also prevented some from entering Al-Aqsa without reason, and forcibly removed them from its surroundings. At the Lions' Gate, the forces attacked the cleric, Bakr Shimi, and prevented him from praying and being in the place. He suffered various wounds and bruises.
