The Secretariat General of the Council of Representatives received a staff from the US Senate and House of Representatives.
The secretariat general showcased the democratic and parliamentary process in Bahrain and its most prominent achievements, the constitutional powers of the Council, the legislative and supervisory tools, and their working mechanisms.
The meeting also reviewed the parliamentary diplomacy working mechanisms and the communication and community partnership programmes implemented by the general secretariat for various groups of society, most notably the Parliamentary Youth Culture Programme, and Parliamentary Preparation Programs.
