HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Sunday with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Ayman Al Safadi, who is currently visiting Doha to attend some of the events of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The meeting discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and the developments in the region, in addition to a host of topics of mutual interest.
During the meeting, HE Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates extended congratulations to the State of Qatar on its success in organizing the World Cup.
For his part, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani expressed the State of Qatar's thanks to the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for its cooperation with the State of Qatar and its support for the success of the tournament.
