ManamaShaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Public Administration, met with a delegation from King's College London, led by Michael Sanders, Professor of Public Policy and Director of the Experimental Government Team at King's College London. Dr. Shaikh Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute for Public Administration, was present. The meeting reviewed means of enhancing cooperation between the institute and the college by developing joint programmes to exchange expertise. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah commended the strong Bahrain-UK relations and cooperation, particularly in the training and education sectors. The Deputy Prime Minister underscored the importance of developing strategic cooperation between the institute and international academies to enhance practices and expertise in the fields of public administration, leadership, and governance. He highlighted efforts to diversify trainin g programmes, invest in human capabilities, and develop national skills based on developments in public administration, while utilising artificial intelligence in the public and private sectors.
