Designated Prayer Areas for inviduals with Disabilities at the Grand Mosque

Makkah, Six prayer areas in the Grand Mosque in Makkah have been designated for individuals with disabilities by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques. The designated prayer areas cater to individuals with physical, visual and hearing disabilities to ensure their comfort while performing prayers, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. These areas have tayammum pads (dry ablution), white canes for visually impaired individuals, copies of the holy Quran equipped with reader pens for the elderly, and sign language interpreters to translate sermons and religious lessons, The authority also provides wheelchairs and electric carts in these areas.
