Director of Hebron Intelligence inspects the Ibrahimi Mosque

HEBRON-Ma'an- The Director of the General Intelligence Directorate in the Hebron Governorate, Brigadier General Ali Shaker, accompanied by Deputy Director Brigadier General Tayseer Al-Fakhouri, and Director of Public Relations and Media in the Hebron Governorate Intelligence, Abdul Hafeez Al-Hashlamoun, accompanied by a number of officers of the agency, paid an inspection visit to the Ibrahimi Mosque. He met with the Director General of the Hebron Endowments, Sheikh Ghassan Al-Rajabi, the Director of the Mosque, Sheikh Moataz Abu Sneineh, and the Director of the Hebron Sayyidna Ibrahim Al-Khalil Tekke, Sheikh Hazem Mujahid, where he listened to a detailed explanation of the nature of the work carried out by the various departments and its impact on the Ibrahimi Mosque and the citizens.

He also listened to a detailed explanation of the difficulties facing their work, and the mechanisms to overcome these difficulties in cooperation with all relevant parties, stressing that the obstacles placed by the occupation and its settlers will not deter them from adhering to the Arab and Islamic character of the Ibrahimi Mosque.

During his various meetings, Brigadier Shaker stressed the importance of joint cooperation and integration between the General Administration of Endowments and the Intelligence Service, in the service of the national interest and strengthening the unity of the people despite the difficult circumstances that Palestine is facing.

Brigadier Shaker, accompanied by the delegation, inspected the conditions of merchants and citizens in the markets of the old town and listened to their explanation of the conditions they face in the region.

At the end of the tour, he stressed that the leadership attaches special importance to the Old City of Hebron, given the difficult conditions it is experiencing, and expressed the apparatus' readiness to help facilitate the lives of citizens.
