Manama, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, has extended profound gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his care towards orphans in Bahrain. In a statement marking the Arab Orphan Day, observed annually on the first Friday of April, HH Shaikh Nasser lauded His Majesty's fatherly care for the welfare of orphans in the Kingdom, ensuring that every individual, particularly orphans, leads a dignified and stable life. His Majesty's commitment to providing top-tier care and services, as well as implementing developmental and strategic initiatives underscore the royal vision to ensure them welfare. HH Shaikh Nasser commended the constant support accorded to the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, citing the multiple orphan-related initiatives launched by the government. His Highne ss also underscored the pivotal role of all ministries in facilitating services and removing obstacles facing the RHF. Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Secretary-General of RHF, extended heartfelt appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his continuous dedication to ensuring the well-being of Bahraini orphans and creating a nurturing environment for them. He emphasised that each orphan in Bahrain is provided with a dignified, secure, and nurturing environment that caters to their needs and aspirations. He extolled His Majesty the King for his compassionate stance as a fatherly figure to all orphans, guaranteeing that no orphan in the Kingdom feels neglected or marginalised. Shaikh Ali also commended the pivotal role played by the government, led by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in bolstering the foundation's initiatives to offer diverse forms of support to Bahraini orphans. He acknowledged the endeavours of HH Shaikh Nas ser in leading charitable and humanitarian efforts to realise the vision and aspirations of His Majesty the King. Shaikh Ali also highlighted HH Shaikh Nasser's dedication to providing all necessary resources to ensure a dignified life for the foundation's beneficiaries. Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa elucidated that since its establishment, the RHF has remained steadfast in delivering various forms of livelihood, educational, health, psychological, and social support to orphans. Additionally, it equips them with diverse skills to empower them in undertaking projects that enhance their livelihoods. The RHF aims to achieve community partnerships with diverse entities to expand its services and intends to establish an investment framework to ensure the sustained operation of the RHF in extending aid to all those in need in Bahrain and supporting afflicted communities and nations.
