Doha: Doha Bank disclosed the interim financial statement for the six-month period ending 30th June , 2024. The financial statements revealed a net profit of QR 432,330,000 making a 10.3 percent increase in comparison to QR 392,047,000 net profit for the same period of the previous year. Data published on Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) website sowed that the earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QR 0.14 as of 30th June , 2024 versus EPS of QR 0.13 for the same period in 2023. Doha Bank Chairperson, HE Sheikh Fahad bin Mohammed bin Jabor Al-Thani said that total assets as at June 30, 2024 reached QAR 105.9 billion to grow by QR 12.8 billion or 13.8 percent as compared to QAR 93.0 billion same period last year, while net loans and advances reached to QR 59.0 billion with a growth of 5.7 percent as compared to the same period last year. Customer deposits grew by QAR 7.5 billion or 17.0 percent to reach QAR 51.6 billion as at 30 June 2024 as compared to QAR 44.1 billion last year. For his part, Managing Director of Doha Bank, HE Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammad bin Jabor Al-Thani, said that the bank continues to maintain stable capital and liquidity positions. Meanwhile, Medicare Group Co. disclosed the interim financial statement for the six-month period ending 30th June , 2024, revealing a net profit of QR 11,283,805 , which is 68.95 percent lower than the net profit of QR 36,343,985 for the same period of the previous year.
