Dozens of Palestinians were martyred, among them women and children, and others wounded, on Saturday, after the Israeli army pounded a school housing displaced people in Deir al Balah, central of the Gaza Strip. According to Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), Israeli fighter aircraft strafed Khadija School sheltering thousands of displaced in west of Deir al Balah, which led to the martyrdom of at least 24 Palestinians, in addition to injuring dozens, pointing out that medical and civil defense personnel keep recovering the victims, as the number of martyrs is expected to surge. The injured were admitted to Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital. Meanwhile, medical sources asserted that 14 bodies of martyrs were received at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, this morning, with civil defense medical personnel retrieving four martyrs and transferring several of injured following an Israeli airstrike on a house in Musabah area, north of Rafah, south of the Palestinian enclave. Since Oct.7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have mounted their airstrikes, ground offensive and assault from sea, committing bloody massacres against the Palestinian civilians, which led to tens of thousands of martyrs, injured and missing people. Moreover, the Israeli forces inflicted massive devastation upon the critical infrastructure creating an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in the enclave, due to blocking food, water, medicine and fuel supplies, because of the restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation forces.
