Al-Khalil-Ma'an- A delegation of businessmen headed by economic advisor Ahmed Hassouna, a member of the Board of Directors of the Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry, left for Europe on a shuttle visit. The tour will include France, Italy and Switzerland. The delegation will begin its tour in the French capital, Paris, to participate in the SIAL Paris International Food Exhibition, which will be held from October 19 to 23. Counselor Hassouna stated that the business delegation represents different economic sectors, as it consists of Eid Sayaj representing the precious metals sector, Firas Al-Najjar representing the food sector, Shaaban Al-Natsheh representing the leather industries sector, Bilal Al-Mahariq representing the textile sector, and Rami Ashour representing the clothing, shipping and clearance sectors. The delegation will hold a series of meetings with French businessmen and industrialists, in addition to their counterparts in the European Union. He explained that a French economic working gr oup has been contacted to arrange the upcoming meetings. He said: 'The delegation represents different economic sectors and segments, and we hope that through our European visit, we will gain a unique vision and opportunities to develop our business in the foreseeable future.' He added that the delegation will then fly to Italy to participate in economic workshops and seminars in the fields in which they work. Trade and industrial exchange will be discussed and strategic partnerships will be formed to develop Palestinian industry and trade. The tour will conclude with a visit to Switzerland.
