ManamaThe Ministry of Education has announced the opening of registration for student transfers between public and private schools for the 2024-2025 academic year through the student transfer service available on the national portal bahrain.bh. The ministry has announced the following timelines for student transfers between schools for the 2024-2025 academic year: - Transfers between government schools will be open from July 7-18. - Transfers between private schools will be open from July 7 to August 29. - Transfers from government schools to private schools will be open from July 7 to August 29. - Transfers from private schools to government schools will be open from July 7-18. All transfer requests are subject to the criterion of the residential blocks and depend on the availability of school vacancies. Transfers are available from the first grade of primary school up to the last year of secondary school. Newly enrolled students in primary school, up to the sixth grade, who have completed registratio n requirements for the academic year 2024-2025 are eligible to transfer to religious institutions. Parents of students currently studying in private schools who want to transfer them to government schools based on their residential blocks can apply through the student transfer service. The application process involves attaching the final certificate for the 2022-2024 academic year and a withdrawal letter from the private school. Source: Bahrain News Agency
