Riyadh, A delegation from the Ministry of Education participated in the 2024 GESS Leaders in Education Summit in Saudi Arabia, organised by UNESCO Regional Centre of Quality and Excellence in Education (RCQE). Dr. Abdulrahman Almedaries, Director General of UNESCO-RCQE inaugurated the summit, which had the participation of educational leaders from the GCC countries' public and private sectors. The delegation from the ministry included Dr. Samah Al Ajjawi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Policies and Learning; and Muammar Al Mannai, Cultural Counselor at the Bahrain Embassy in Saudi Arabia. The summit provided a valuable opportunity for education experts and leaders to connect, share innovative ideas, and collaborate on cutting-edge projects in the field of educational technology. The event featured specialised sessions designed to address training needs and tackle challenges faced by educational leaders, while also exploring the latest trends and technologies shaping the future of education .
