Abu Dhabi, Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, led Bahrain's delegation at the 2024 World Utilities Congress and the Arab Water Forum, held in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, from September 16-18. The conference, a platform for ministers, CEOs, experts, and global leaders in the energy sector, focuses on strengthening strategic efforts between countries, future directions in the utilities industry, reducing carbon emissions, improving costs, enhancing efficiencies, and boosting commercial performance. In its third edition, the conference, themed "Towards a Secure and Sustainable Future for the Utilities Sector," features over 12,000 specialists and experts, 180 exhibitors, and 250 speakers from various countries. It offers utilities professionals the opportunity to exchange expertise, showcase the latest industrial technologies, and review research findings, technical advancement s, new project developments, and best industry practices.
