Brussels, The European Union (EU) has announced additional funding of 200 million euros for training of the Ukrainian soldiers.
Following his meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that 34,000 Ukrainian soldiers have already been trained until now.
"It is about 27 billion euros of combined the European Union and Member States - military assistance to Ukraine. This is an important contribution to Ukraine's defence capacities," Borrell said.
"But I know that we have to do more and faster," he added.
