At least five Palestinians were martyred and several others injured Sunday morning in a series of Israeli occupation airstrikes targeting Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza and the city of Rafah to the south. Medical sources confirmed the killing of at least three civilians and multiple injuries after Israeli occupation forces targeted a house in the Bureij refugee camp, according to the Palestinian news agency (WAFA). Simultaneously, two more civilians were martyred in an Israeli shelling targeting a group of people in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah. Israeli occupation forces have also intensified their aerial and artillery bombardment on the Central Gaza Governorate, a day after committing a horrific massacre in the Nuseirat refugee camp, which claimed the lives of 210 civilians and injured over 400 others. Since Oct. 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been waging a relentless war on Gaza, so far killing 36,801 people, the majority of whom are children and women, and injuring 83,680 others.
