Doha, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister, held a meeting with Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, on the sidelines of the third session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with Central Asian Countries and the Republic of Azerbaijan, held today in Doha. The two sides discussed the preparations for the 33rd Arab Summit, set to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain on May 16, in addition to the topics and issues to be included in the agenda of the pan-Arab Summit. The meeting also focused on the current regional situation, as well as the ongoing Arab and international efforts aimed at stopping the escalation in the Gaza Strip, ending the war and providing humanitarian aid to the civilian population in the enclave.
