New York, Dr. Abdulatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Dr. Ayman Al Safadi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the Permanent Mission of Jordan in New York with, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. During the meeting, they discussed the strong historical relations between the two countries and means to enhance and develop bilateral cooperation, coordination, and mutual consultation to serve their common interests and goals. They also exchanged views on the regional situation, the conflict in Gaza, escalating tensions in Lebanon and the West Bank, and the Arab and international efforts aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and reducing tensions.
