Tripoli, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Abdulhamid Al Dabaiba, Prime Minister and assigned Foreign Minister of Libya. The Foreign Affairs Minister has visited Libya as part of a tour that covered several Arab countries. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various domains and agreed to strengthen the role of the joint supreme ministerial committee between the two countries. The two sides reviewed the current regional situation and its impact on security and stability in the region, particularly the current situation in the Gaza Strip, means to protect the civilian population and provide humanitarian aid. They discussed the preparations for the 33rd Arab Summit hosted by Bahrain on May 16, the summit's work programme, and the topics and issues scheduled to be included on the agenda.
