Doha, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister, held a meeting with Dr. Mohammed Mustafa, the Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister of the State of Palestine, on the sidelines of the third session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with Central Asian Countries and the Republic of Azerbaijan, held today in Doha. The two sides discussed the strong historical fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples, in addition to ways to bolster joint cooperation across various fields to serve common interests and goals. They also exchanged views on the regional developments and their impacts on regional security and stability, as well as the war on the Gaza Strip and the ongoing efforts aimed at reaching an immediate ceasefire, ensuring protection for civilians and facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gazans. The meeting also focused on the ongoing preparations for the 33rd Arab Summit, set to be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain on May 16, in additi on to the Summit's agenda. Source: Bahrain News Agency
