Manama, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Musalia Mudavadi, the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York with, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The ministers discussed the course of solid relations between the two countries, ways to develop aspects of bilateral cooperation in various fields and enhance joint coordination and exchange of support in international forums, in the service of common interests. Views were also exchanged on the latest regional developments and current developments in the Middle East and the African continent, the war on the Gaza Strip, and Arab and international efforts aimed at reaching a permanent ceasefire, protecting civilians and civil dignitaries, and delivering humanitarian aid to the civilian population without hindrance. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Jamal Fares Al Rowaiei, Bahrain 's Permanent Representative to the UN, and Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations.
